How to Add SaaS Operations Layer to Your ChatGPT App or Agent?
1. Set up an organization on the Findexar platform. Bring or set up your Stripe account and connect it to your Findexar org. If you intend to have external users, create free and paid subscription plans for your users. If you intend to have internal users, create an internal team plan.
2. Optional—set up a "downstream" connector. By downstream we mean the backend you want to integrate with—such as a Zapier MCP, Make, or n8n server, or a custom MCP service, such as created with OpenAI Apps SDK.
3. Set up an "upstream connector" that provides an MCP endpoint that will be used by your ChatGPT agent or app. You can select the tools exposed by connected downstream adapters and assign a price in credits to each. The Findexar Service downstream connector will be automatically added to your upstream connector. For a minimal setup where you just want to monetize your ChatGPT agent without any backend MCP integration, use the Findexar service—it’s automatically added to your upstream connector. Select the useCredits tool in the upstream connection and provide instructions in your Agent on when to charge credits.
